He brings hands-on experience from his time at Linear Retail Properties, where he rotated across leasing, asset management, and acquisitions. Landon brings experience from Matheson Capital, a Charleston-based real estate private equity firm focused on value-add multifamily assets. While working on the acquisitions team, he gained exposure to institutional underwriting and the due diligence process. A real estate investor himself, Landon acquired his first property at age fifteen. The investment delivered strong returns and was ultimately purchased by a regional investment group at a premium.

Fun fact: Before starting college, Landon went on a month-long backpacking expedition through the Alaskan wilderness.

Carly Bolton is a rising senior at Harvard in Lowell House, studying Economics and Computer Science. She’s a licensed Massachusetts realtor with experience as an investment analyst and in real estate development. Drawing on several years in architecture and construction, Ellis has tackled schematic design, cost estimation, and site coordination. He sharpened his real-estate toolkit through finance and development coursework at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and he recently interned with The St. Joe Company and an AI-powered real-estate underwriting startup, where he focused on go-to-market strategy.

Raised on St. Simons Island, Georgia, Ellis gravitates toward boutique mixed-use and luxury-hospitality projects that pair thoughtful placemaking with durable economic value. In his free time, he is an avid golfer.

He is also involved with the Harvard Investment Association and the Harvard Financial Analysts Club.

Owen’s interest in real estate began at a young age through his mother, a professional in commercial real estate. His favorite asset class is residential, appreciating its impact on communities and the dynamic nature of local housing markets.

Kadyn’s passion for real estate began at a young age when her family would drive through luxury neighborhoods to admire the architecture of single-family homes—something she still enjoys doing today. Her favorite property type is single-family residential, inspired by its variety in design and deep connection to personal memory and place.

  • As Director of Engagement, Darious is responsible for planning and executing 1–2 social events each month to foster community within HUREIG.

Darious Hanson is a sophomore at Harvard College studying History and Economics and a member of Pforzheimer House. Before Harvard, he served as a Special Operations Squad Leader in the 160th SOAR (Night Stalkers).

Darious is drawn to hospitality real estate because he believes great spaces do more than generate returns, they create emotion, memory, and connection. To him, hospitality is where business meets human experience, and is the focal point of human interaction.

He currently sits on the board of the Harvard Undergraduate Venture Capital Group and the Harvard Undergraduate Veterans Organization, combining his passions for leadership, investment, and impact.
